Faster Horses Festival is back for its second year on July 18, 19, and 20th. Before you head out to enjoy three days of amazing country music, it is a good idea to know these things before you go.
WHAT TO BRING
You are allowed to bring in a small gallon clear bag for snacks and one full plastic water bottle (per person) up to a liter. It must be clear and factory sealed. Faster Horses does have free water stations on the festival grounds to refill during the day.
Bring sunscreen. Seriously. You’ll be standing in an open field for the majority of the time you are there. We saw a fair share of people on the second day that looked miserable with their crazy sun burns.
Bring some cash. There are ATMs on the festival grounds but as lines get longer for beer and food, it is sometimes easier to pay with cash.
WHAT TO DO
There is so much to do at Faster Horses besides all the great music on two stages. There is a giant water slide, the Vertigo Swing, a Ferris Wheel, and a Foam party tent. Looking to get competitive? Grab a group and play some wiffle ball. You can also play beach volley ball too!
If your phone runs out of juice, don’t worry. Faster Horses has a charging station, so you can keep taking selfies and videos the whole weekend.
Make sure you stop by the Made In Michigan Craft Beer tent and try some of the mitten’s best microbrews. If craft beer isn’t your thing, there are other beer vendors around the entire field.
